Throughout the year we arrange trips to places of interest where we visit and also have a walk in the English countryside.

Transport to the location of the activity is provided free, but you must register if you need it. Transport will be by minibus, or we may link you to a British person going in a car. Just ask at any of our Thursday or Sunday meetings if you want to register.

Transport places we can offer will be limited, and those registering first will be allocated places first – so please register early

The minibus and cars meet up at 10am from Maudland Road (which is the road that runs down the side of the front car part of uclan Foster building). Students and visiting scholars will be returned to this location in mid to late afternoon.

The places we visit are popular and well visited tourist locations, but anyone going travels and walks at their own risk.

If you register to come on a trip and then find that you will be unable to come, it is vital that you let us know this in advance. Places are limited, and if you fail to tell us then you may be stopping someone else from going.
